Hi all,
I have an issue I haven't been able to get help with. Recently, some software I installed has changed something in my settings that has disabled JavaScript or blocked it. All of the JavaScript test web pages I have went to say it is installed, and I have verified that it is enabled in the settings. But, if I go to any site that uses it, it is telling me that I need to get a browser capable of using JavaScript. Case in point, You Tube is a good test site. It continues to tell me that either JavaScript is not enabled or that I need the latest Flash Player. I have verified and even downloaded the latest flash player. I also tried installing 3 other browsers, Firefox, Opera, Safari. All have the same issue. Does anyone have any advice on what could be blocking JavaScript? The program I used was called Advanced System Care by IoBit. I cannot prove it was that program and the restore points I have used in the program didn't fix it, but they are not getting back to me and now I have 4 systems (all with ASC) that have the same issue. Any help? Is there a place in the registry that this can be enabled/disabled? I am stumped. I do not want to have to reinstall 4 systems... also, when in IE, I see that there are errors on the page. These error include "X is undefined" and "object expected" errors...I hope that helps you help me!!
Thanks,
