My manager raised an interesting question yesterday.
Assuming that i have a program that will enable a locked account to a "secure resource" (say a database) by request, how can i, in a "secure resource" independent way, ensure that the account is used only from a particular workstation.
Example, i enable Bob's account to access an enterprise database, but Bob should only be able to use this access from the workstation Jupiter.
Open the user's account in AD and go to "Account" tab. Click the button for "Logon To".
Check the box for "Only these computers" (rather than "All") and add the name(s) of the computer(s) that they should be allowed to log on to.
