I'm just wondering if it's possible for office network admins to access my social network profile if I log into it at office. Especially can they possibly read messages that I sent and receive at social network sites like facebook, linkedin, etc....

technically they can't log in and read it legally, but they don't have to. There is software that will display whats showing on your screen to them, they can sniff network traffic and read everything you post or read - so they have no reason to commit a crime and access your profile.

Or, to put it in other words: yes, it's quite possible. Just how far they may go depends on how much they want to snoop around. They can actively log into your account, either by sniffing the password (as long as the connection isn't encrypted with HTTPS), or by installing keyloggers on the office machines. Or they can just passively see whatever you see, by installing monitoring software on the machines (which lets them see what's on your screen, etc).
