Not a very clear title, so I'll explain what I mean.

I normally use the "newposts" to see what has been posted recently, then answer those topics which I can. I often leave this tab open in firefox, and return periodically, refresh and carry on.

If I leave it too long, my session times out and I get a login prompt. That's fine. But when I hit the login I am redirected to the default search page, not to the newposts where I came from. It would be really good if it would carry on where I left off.

another phpBB driven site - www.gpanswers.com does exactly what I am after - I can refresh newposts and if it has timed out I get the login page, login and get the refreshed newposts

It's not the end of the world, but I am also guessing it won't be a huge problem to solve for us regular addicts!
