What File Format in Appleworks (for mac) can be read in Microsoft Excel 2000, I tried saving it as 'Microsoft Win Excel 97/2000/XP spr' but it automatically shutdown Appleworks (w/ out the Appleworks shutdown...
error) after showing the MACLINK PLUS translating tool. Then I went into my thumbdrive (still on my Mac computer) opened it and it said 'Appleworks Could Not Translate this'. I also tried saving it as ASCII TEXT but on my PC is said 'Excel could not recongnize this file format'...
Please Help,
Derek

EDIT:
I opened the wrong file, I forgot I called it <filename> ASCII TEXT so I opened the wrong one, it works.

How can I save a NEW Spreadsheet (from my PC) so it will be readable for AppleWorks SpreadSheet? (i also tried .dif and it did not work!)
Please Help!
