Basically a person creates a company based on live home security, using a webcam a person could hire others to connect to their camera and watch over their house through a live stream while they go out.

Just an idea I had, not sure if it was thought of before or not.

Sure, many CCTV solutions for home and business allow you to connect via the web and monitor the different cameras.

Home security systems are more important now than ever before. Simple house or safety alarm is the best and its aim is to warn residents of the house of a type of danger like some of the door and window alarms, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors. Another example is the porch or driveway motion sensor which switch on the lights when approaching anyone.

there is something like that out there - its kind of like a neighborhood watch. Many people can watch your cam and there is an 'alarm' button that notifies you if they see something.

Managed security already is saturated with companies

Although, the concept of improving home security through new means is good, I am not sure whether CCTV at home with remote viewing is the best option. Imagine if it is hacked, they can use it to plan a robbery and what about personal privacy! These systems need to be 100% secure and you know that's quite a task!
