Hope it helps out some of you. Should resolve some of those issues where you are constantly being asked for login/password info when using Firefox/Mozilla, etc for sites that normally do not require it for Internet Explorer (like placating those annoying proxy authentication requests and internal web traffic in corporate environments)
Here is how:
1. Type about:config in URL bar
2. In search bar type any part of the item you are looking for (ntlm or Negotiate)
3. Click on the item you want to change. (Or double click if it is a boolean, to change it)
4. Change the value in the pop up.
5. Click OK
6. Presto!
