How do I stop these annoying Norton alerts that pop up due to the firewall being disabled? I have to disable my Norton firewall to access my company's intranet. Every few minutes a Norton alert pops up telling my there is a problem with my Norton. I understand its helpfulness if I were not aware of the problem, but since I am aware that I have it turned off, it is really annoying. I looked around the control panel in Norton and didn't see anything I thought would fix this problem. Help!

Did you consider creating an exception in the firewall to allow the type of communication you need to access the company?

Having the firewall off is indeed a security issue.

You could also call Norton support.
