I have a few PGP related questions. I have searched the forums but it seems like the information is old and products recommended in the past are not available anymore.

I am looking for a free PGP software that can link into outlook. I have downloaded gnupgp and I am looking for a graphical interface for it. I have tried downloading gpg4win but the link times out. WinPT is the same deal. So here are my questions:

1) Is there another newer/better option then gnupgp?
2) What interface do you all use/recommend for basic pgp usage in windows and integrated with outlook?
3) Any other information I may be missing?

1) Not really, but that is really a matter of opinion.

2) You've listed the outlook gpg plugins I've heard of, but I don't use outlook so maybe someone else can answer. If you're interested in using Thunderbird, you can use the Enigmail plugin. There is even a portable thunderbird bundle that includes GPG, Enigmail, and Thunderbird: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable
Just make sure you download this package and not the "standard" thunderbird only package: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/portabletbird/Thunderbird_Portable_with_Enigmail+GPG_1.5.0.5_en-us.exe?download

For windows shell intergration, I use GPGShell

I agree PGP on Thunderbird is the way to go (Windows or Linux).

Here is how to get it running fast: How to install PGP on Thunderbird (this is an article from the PGP insider forum) .
