Hi,
I've had problems with Internet hackers spying on my internet surfing. On my laptop I accidentally opened a spam email (no attachments) and afterwards the cursor would change every couple of minutes from an arrow to an hourglass (for a few seconds) when surfing - as if a program was running in the background periodically sending info to a hacker. I use Vista Business, IE7, Firefox 3, Windows Defender, McAfee, ClamAV, Webroot Firewall, and a spyware program, but none of them can find an infection. But if I use a browser sandbox - like ZoneAlarm Forcefield - there is no cursor change problem.
I'd like to clear this infection, so does anyone know what kind of malware program intermittently changes the cursor from an arrow to an hourglass? Is it a browser add-on infection? A rootkit? A trojan? Or a remote viewing application?
